Autumn Doeskin Bird WalkCome out to bird on a crisp fall day at Doeskin Ranch, one of the prettiest and birdiest spots in Balcones National Wildlife Refuge! We will explore a woodland area, a prairie area and a creekside area of Doeskin to see what birds are enjoying the fall day too. You never know what you will find on any given day in this classic Hill Country terrain, but common resident birds include “Black-crested” Titmice, Bewick’s Wrens, Northern Cardinals, Rufous-crowned and Field Sparrows, with Turkey Vultures often flying overhead. People with all different levels of birding experience are welcome!
