MATTRESS MAC, OF HURRICANE HARVEY FAME OPENS HIS DOORS TO THE COMMUNITY ONCE AGAIN.

Ann Murrow, founder of the Lago Vista Women’s Club and Committee Chair of the 2018 Butterflies and Hummingbird Tour of Homes has announced the itinerary of the much-anticipated event which includes the beautiful home of Jim McIngvale, fondly known as Mattress Mac, most recently of Hurricane Harvey fame.
“Jim and his wife, Linda are opening their Lake Travis waterfront home to the Lago Vista Women’s Club for our fundraiser on Saturday, April 7th. Mark your calendar for an afternoon of oohing and awing!”, commented Ann Murrow.
Seven ladies, living in the Lago Vista, Tessera, Waterford and Point Venture areas will also be opening their doors during this tour of Lake Travis waterfront communities. If required, the rain date is the following day; Sunday, April 8th from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm.
At many of the homes participants will find a variety of home-made goodies made from old-fashioned recipes, each tantalizingly filled with yummy calories.
Funds resulting from the tour will be distributed to Lago Vista High School graduating senior girls to further their education, as well as to local non-profit organizations which are looking for a financial boost to push their plans to a higher level. Over the 40-year history of the Club the fund-raising efforts have resulted in over $400,000 donated to these worthy causes.
Tickets are $20 each and are now available at two businesses on Lohman Ford Road in Lago Vista: Tutta Italiana Coffee Shop, situated on a slight hill at the traffic light at Lohman Ford Road and Dawn Drive, 6300 Lohman’s and at the Shippin’ Post/Cleaners on the hillside at 7301 Lohman Ford Road.
