Cox Springs School Tours

Join us for a trip down memory lane at the historic Cox Springs School established in 1885 as the first school for the children of what is now Jonestown, Lago Vista and Point Venture. Learn about rural education, see restoration work in progress for the 1928 school building, and enjoy free snacks. Hear about rural education challenges and daily schedule, see historic photos and books, and explore our unique school desk collection from the 1880s-1950s.
